To most Cagayanons, it is known endearingly as Ketkai Mall.

Situated in the heart of the city, Limketkai Mall is  right in front of Mindanao University of Science and Technology and about one kilometer away from Ayala Mall in Centrio and seven kilometers away from the city airport.
Its  total area of 320,000 square meters makes  Limketkai Mall the 21st largest shopping center in the world based on the gross leasable area.  But in addition, the shopping center is already starting to work on a proposal as a business district with an additional area of about 20.3 hectares.
Limketkai Mall boasts of four concourses. Outside the mall is the Rosario Arcade, an area for chilling out that houses bars, pizza parlors, coffee shops, and fine dining restaurants, featuring Italian, Chinese, Thai, and American cuisines.  Live bands provide live music nightly to attract swinging crowds.

This premium hotel features 200 guest and 70 luxury suite rooms. A 60-foot outdoor pool is one of its features.
Expansion
In 2008, the proposal for an annex of the mall has been incorporated into the hotel. Hotel Limketkai costs Php1.2 billion for a gross amount of Php1.8 billion of construction in the Gateway Towers.
The mall-east concourse under-construction is a connecting junction which will provide additional retail floor area. The connection will include a duty-free Fiesta shopping complex designed with an elevated Aseana retail shopping with call center and Cinemax complexes.
Recently, Limketkai Sons signed a contract for the construction of the business district on 320,000 square meters including the Limketkai Mall  and the series of buildings attached to the shopping mall.
By 2013, the hotel will be opened. The business district will house the headquarters of Limketkai Sons Company.  Comprising the shopping mall, office, hotel, residential, and convention center, the Limketkai business district will rise soon on 320,000 square meters, making it the largest business district in Mindanao by 2014.
